This initiative by the Forum RIDM aims to further propel inventive projects that are close to our hearts.

Over the years, the event (formerly Talent Lab) has reinvented itself to become an essential opportunity for professional and creative development. Supported by various local and international industry professionals, the Doc Lab Montréal welcomes a cohort of Canadian and international filmmakers and producers with short, medium, or feature-length projects to help them develop their creative documentaries, artistic practices, and production strategies.

From November 21 to 23, the selected participants will benefit from closed-circuit group work sessions.

Following this mentorship, participants will have the opportunity to present their project during a pitch session before renowned industry professionals at the professional market, from November 24 to 26. They will also have a chance to win awards or support provided by Doc Lab Montréal partners.
