Panel | Navigating Taiwanese cinema

This round table brings together some of Taiwan’s most talented contemporary filmmakers and a TIDF programmer who will speak from the perspective of both the festival and the broader film industry. Together, they will share their insights on the state of the industry today and reflect on the artistic concerns and practices that shape their work. The discussion will paint a vivid portrait of the evolving aesthetics and diversity that define the contemporary film culture of Taiwan.

Speakers: Yo-Hen So (Taman-Taman (Park)), Wei-lin Hung (K's Room - The Creation and Destruction of the World) , Yi-Shan Lo (After the Snowmelt), Wanling Chen (TIDF) , Tzuan Wu (This shore : A Family Story / Fur Film Vol.1: I don’t own a cat/ The Embryo’s Dream, Upon the Moon)
The discussion will be held in english, with live translation in french.
